I talked to Scott a little bit ago and got an update from him, he will be Danny Eslick’s fuel man for the Daytona 200. Danny Eslick qualified for the pole! Be sure to catch the race on Speed TV! If you are looking for Scott on TV, he will be the guy with the fire protective mask on.

Chris Ulrich placed 6th in the first superbike race out at Daytona yesterday. You can check out the results of the races here. The 2nd Superbike race is scheduled for today! As soon as I have the results, I will post them up.

I did a little research today comparing tire weights, this is what I found.

Michelin Pilot Power 120/70ZR17 – 9lbs 3.5oz
Michelin Pilot Power 190/50ZR17 – 12lbs 10oz

Michelin Pilot Power 2CT 120/70ZR17 – 9lbs 3.5oz
Michelin Pilot Power 2CT 190/50ZR17 – 12lbs 6oz

Michelin Power Pure 120/70ZR17 – 8lbs 6.5oz
Michelin Power Pure 190/50ZR17 – 12lbs 1.5oz

Shinko Advance 120/70ZR17 – 9lbs 5oz
Shinko Advance 190/50ZR17 – 14lbs 2.5oz

When the next set of Power One’s gets ordered, I’ll weigh those up as well and see how they compare to the Power Pure’s.
